Good thing thats over with.....

Herdeiros do Odio are an awesome band from Sao Paulo Brazil. They play straight forward punk/crust with a catchy side to it.  am not sure what they have out but they do have a few videos. Check 'em out!

This is a promotion video for the D-Clone Nerveskade Japanese tour. Both bands were great and I am pretty sure neither plays anymore. A few of the members of Nerveskade are now in Bi-Marks. I think I may still have ear damage from the time I saw D-Clone!

Criminal Code are an awesome band from Tacoma Washington. Their first Lp and couple 7"s are great. I have yet to get the second Lp but from the few tracks I have heard it is equally as good. This is a great live set by them on KEXP.

Mean streets of El Camino....

Cool video featuring both Born Dead Icons and La Fraction touring the states together. I got to see them both on this tour with cripple bastards at Gilman and then again at chaos in tejas.  I think that Born Dead Icons  got better as they progressed and the same could be said about La Fraction. The third La Fraction Lp really showed them at their prime and their most recent 7" is right along those lines.
Contrast Attitude from Japan are a brutal, noisy punk band that toured the east coast in 2013 with Aspects of War. Check 'em out!
White Wires were a super catchy punk band from Canada that featured ex members of The Sedatives. They put out three Lps and I think the last one is the best. If you like the video find yourself a copy.
Ghoul are the best metal band around right now. The music is brutal and fun. I know many punks are into black metal bands and I like some too, but many of them take themselves waaaayyyy too seriously. These guys don't. Their live shows are a blast too and not to be missed.

Your lack of self correction, makes your opinions irrelevant!

From Ashes Rise have been around and yes I know that everyone has heard them at this point. They seem to have slowed down in the last few years and it may be due to other projects the members are busy with. They have always put on great live shows. I think the first time I saw them was in the late 90s and they floored me. The first two 7"s and the first couple Lps were stellar. Nightmares though has to be their best. Anyway too much rambling watch the video.
The Sydney Ducks were the best Oi band in the bay area for as long as they lasted. Great song writing, delivered raw, the way that Oi and punk are supposed to be. I am pretty sure they don't play anymore but I could be wrong. Check em out in this video but make sure to listen to their studio material as this video doesn't do them justice.
Mundo Muerto are a killer band from So Cal. They don't seem to play that much now days. I have their Lp and it is awesome! Their live shows are great too.
Steve Adamyk Band are from Ottawa and play a infectious style of punk similar to that of late 80s early 90s bay area punk bands. They have ex members from The Sedatives and have shared or share members with Sonic Avenues and Pregnancy Scares. This song is off their fourth Lp that came out somewhat recently and is a bit more mid tempo than their previous releases, but its still great.
Raw Noise were a killer band from the UK featuring members from epic bands such as Extreme Noise Terror and Death Dealers. The video is exactly what you would expect.

Absence of Connectivity

Classic Japanese punk! The Stalin were great back in 1982 and the music has not lost any of its edge.
Seein' Red were an awesome dutch band that arose from the ashes of LARM. They put out many releases and off the top of my head I can think of it least 7 that I have and none of them stray away from their manic punk style. This video is from their last show in Amsterdam in 2012.
Oi Polloi have been playing so long at this point that I am sure everyone with even a little exposure to the punk scene has heard of them, but I don't think they get the respect they deserve. I can listen to Oi Polloi from the 80's, 90's and 2000's and although their sound has changed some they still remain a great band. My personal favorite is the anarchoi Lp. Mostly because it was my first exposure to the band back in the 90's. Anyway after all these years they now actually have a music video. Enjoy.
Sad Boys are an awesome straight ahead punk band from NYC. Killer band with simple riffs, but packed with energy! This is them playing on the Portland radio station KBOO.

Unaffordable existence

Young Wasteners were an awesome Danish punk band in the early 2000's. I think they only released a Lp and 7" but both are stellar. At the time I remember thinking that it seemed like all these European bands (Young Wasteners, No hope for the kids, Regulations ect.)were doing the 80s USA punk sound better than anyone in the states. It probably still represents the best reproduction of the sound but all those bands had a way of keeping themselves unique.
PASSIV DÖDSHJÄLP are a Swedish crust band that plays tight, metallic and somewhat melodic music. Maybe melodic is not the right word, but they have a sound like Skitsystem but with a little more melody and metal thrown into the mix. I dig it.
Crucifix or 1984, as they now are calling themselves, have reformed and been performing the entire dehumanization Lp from start to finish, and it is fucking amazing. They just returned from Japan and might do more shows. So if you get a chance to see them don't pass it up!!
Death Side are fucking absolutely essential Japanese hardcore. One of the creators of burning spirits style hardcore this is a killer video of them playing live. The quality doesn't get any better for Death Side videos. Members went on to be in other legendary bands such as Forward, Paintbox,Judgement and others.
Brutal Knights are a silly bunch of Canadians. They have lots of material out. I have a couple Lps and they are all a mix of punk and a good sense of humor. Good stuff.
I am not a big fan of most of the "folk punk" out there. But I have a big soft spot for Mischief Brew. I feel like the song writing is top notch. I think a major part of being a good folk musician is being able to tell a story in a way that keeps the audience captivated. Mischief Brew does this in a way most cannot. To me it is the perfect cross between Billy Bragg and punk.
Damaged Head are an awesome new band from Sweden. Fast, aggressive punk! The one sided Lp had me sold on this band and the follow up did not disappoint. Check out this live video and if you are intrigued get the records!

I am guilty of every fallacy imaginable

Instinct of Survival are brutal stench-core and have been featured on this blog before but I felt the need to put them up here again as their second Lp gets constant rotation from myself.
Libyans are an awesome punk band from Boston. Simple and to the point and done with enthusiasm. It gives the music a driving quality that makes them stand out from the rest. Anyway the video is OK the song is great. Check them out..
Gay Kiss are an awesome band from Arizona are seem to be quite active. They have some blistering fast parts that go flawlessly with their breakdowns. Caution this video may cause seizures!
This video really took me by surprise. I don't know a lot about Helms Alee but this video a awesome nod to 90s videos. Check it out.
Killer video of the always brutal Stormcrow playing at Hoppers house in Portland. I have never seen so much headbanging in Portland. It's a headbangers ball!!! ....terrible joke
So I have now featured two bands on this post twice on the blog. Kill me. Both Belgrado Lps are great. Get them if you can. I am guilty of every fallacy imaginable
